Lesley completed her BA Degree in English Literature and Law at Rhodes University in 2008 and thereafter obtained her LLB at UKZN in 2010. After her admission as an Attorney in 2013, Lesley worked as an Associate at Morris Fuller Williams Inc. and R. L. Daly Attorneys, specialising in general litigation, family law, and debt collections over the next 5 years. She then relocated to Johannesburg and headed up the collection of e-tolls as in-house Legal Counsel for SANRAL, but soon decided to pursue her passion for philanthropy and was appointed as the CEO for the KZN Cerebral Palsy Association from 2019 to 2021. Since then, Lesley has worked at various law firms developing her skills and acumen in the legal industry. She was appointed as an Associate at Gumede and Warburton Attorneys in January 2024. She has a keen sense of fairness and believes strongly in the machinations of justice.
